The Model Schools Program is a support structure for teachers to incorporate technology within classroom instruction. The program process includes instructional technology planning, staff development and curriculum and assessment aligning with the NYS Standards.

The Model Schools Program supports 14 curriculum committees in the five counties serviced by the Mohawk Regional Information Center. The Business Education Committee is an active and dynamic group that meets three times during the school year. Topics discussed include block scheduling, C-DOS, standards integration, curriculum development, Learning Experience format, and Peer Review process. Training, field trips, and speakers are all part of meeting agendas.
