Professional Development Workshops Through Model Schools

Starting October 13, 2008, teachers in the MORIC region have the capability of taking professional development workshops built within the Angel platform. These workshops vary in topic and focus, but share the common theme of promoting the use of technology in the classroom to support district and regional curricular initiatives, such as differentiated instruction, response to intervention, and literacy. These courses run for about one month each, and are the equivalent of a teacher spending 5-7 hours of time in an "in person" or "traditional" workshop.
